Southwest Airlines: Industry and consumer trends

Description: For my Information Exploration class at the University of Kansas, we were tasked with researching a company and the industry it is a part of that would hypothetically be presented to a marketing team. The presentation must contain research-based insights about the brand’s industry and consumers that would help shape the marketing campaign. The primary skills this project helps build are finding trend information about an industry and its consumers, or in my case, domestic airlines and travelers, evaluating the sources used, and using them in the final project.
