For our final project in my Audience Experience class, we were to pick a local business in Lawrence, Kansas, and create a presentation analyzing how they engage with their audience. After doing extensive research on the business, conducting interviews and analyzing competitors, we put together a memo with deeper information on the company and presented a 15-minute presentation about our findings. Nuclear Energy Institute

For our final project in my Intro to Advertising class, we were tasked to create a campaign to promote the Nuclear Energy Institute in positive light for young adults ages 18 to 24.

Southwest Airlines: Industry & Consumer Trends

For my Information Exploration class at the University of Kansas, we were tasked with researching a company and the industry it is a part of that would hypothetically be presented to a marketing team. The presentation must contain research-based insights about the brand’s industry and consumers that would help shape the marketing campaign. The primary skills this project helps build are finding trend information about an industry and its consumers, or in my case, domestic airlines and travelers, evaluating the sources used, and using them in the final project.
